The world is made of shoes

Colorbleed was commissioned by Framestore Chicago to collaborate on Shoe Carnival's all-new and revamped 2021 summer commercials. Featuring amusing characters set in a bright shoebox universe.

The Job

Three full-CG television commercials were produced in a very short time. The first spot (above) transports the spectator inside the Shoe Carnival store, zipping drone-style past all of the brand divisions and encountering customers unpacking all of the fun at Shoe Carnival.

Our aim for the 'Back to School' campaign was to highlight the many brands and styles with an exciting drone fly across various themed product vignettes. Fly through a box of Big-Time fun, passing through playgrounds, hallways, research labs, and study rooms, each themed area created to complement the brands.

My Role

— Client point of contact for all production and financial needs
— Scoping, budgeting, planning, and scheduling all milestones/reviews
— Finding and booking freelancers / planning resources
— Clear communication between all stakeholders and personnel
— Managing team from pitch to final delivery
— Managing client reviews, approvals, and deliveries
— Invoicing, collecting final assets, approved credit lists and portfolio live dates
