Introdans - one of the most famous dance theaters in the Netherlands - came to Het Nieuwe Kader with a request for a new website for a younger public. They were in need of animated dancers for on the web pages. For this we proposed to make it 3D, record the performance of one of their dancers via motion capture; A solution admittedly slightly more expensive, but infinitely more relevant and impressive to look at. For this we made a quick proof of concept video of a pre-made mocap dance attached to 3 different cartoon characters. They loved it and a 3 days later, Alberto (one of the Introdans stars) was in the studio doing all his dances for the mocap recording in one morning.
