As a producer and designer, I have an extensive 20+ years of experience in the advertising and CG/animation industry. With all these years comes knowledge, insight, wisdom, and a calm no-nonsense attitude.
I can describe myself as a highly communicative introvert. This means I'm great at collaborating with people, but I do my best thinking alone. To stay sane I never take things too seriously. I often try to make my points via humor and metaphor. I’m always full of curiosity, eager to learn new things, stimulated by art and technology and always willing to serve the projects’ purpose.
Producer by experience
Managing teams, projects, resources, clients throughout the years. I have learned the vast majority of the processes involved in Animation, CG/VFX, and Design as well as having experience in developing new business opportunities.
Creative by opportunity
Having had the chance to creatively drive and influence projects from early stages in constant contact with clients and key creative teams. So far I've had the opportunity to work on 3D animation and motion-graphic design projects, for online and TV, but also many interactive projects, for online marketing.
Interaction-Designer by education
Having a background in interactive media due to my study, along with my years of experience in online advertising, this gives me a valuable insight and understanding on how design and development processes for web sites, apps, and games work, and how to use resources efficiently.
I try to make a living combining what I love and what I find interesting. I love cinema, animation, video games, interesting documentaries, music, mind expanding books, intelligent comedy, cryptocurrency, NFTs, and my dog Moxie.
Pro-tip: You really want me on your Trivial Pursuit team.

EDUCATION

HKU
interaction design 1996-1999
Utrecht School of the Arts,
Faculty KMT, in Hilversum
Around 1994 I applied to the Interaction Design course of the HKU, a renowned media art-school in the Netherlands.
During the 4 years I was there, the study went through a major change of direction due to the sudden emergence of the "world-wide-web". I spent most of my time on audiovisual multimedia with lots of animation and video.
